MGAlignIt Web Service

Please paste the sequences into the text boxes below and hit the submit button. If you need help in using this website, there is a Tutorial as well as specific help on this "Use it" page. There is also specific help on the results returned by this page.

To try out the service, click here for some examples.

Currently, we are unable to accept GenBank Accession Numbers as inputs. This will be addressed in future releases of this web service. Meanwhile, there are instructions available illustrating the steps required to copy GenBank sequences into the text boxes below.

This web service accepts the following file formats:

  • Plain sequences pasted into the text boxes below.
  • Plain and FASTA formatted sequence files created in Text Editors such as Microsoft Notepad.
  • Plain and FASTA formatted sequence files created in Word Processors such as Microsoft Word provided that the files are saved in plain text.

If you encounter any problems using the web service, please email bernett@bic.nus.edu.sg together with the input files and we will try to solve your problem as soon as possible.
